Our last stop on our Easter holiday was Brick Bay Sculpture Trail where we meandered through the bush and admired the art. Many of my favourite pieces were birds.

We spent Easter in Leigh by the Sea, about an hour north of Auckland. The weather was fantastic so we enjoyed walking along a few beaches and exploring the area.



Pakiri Beach is a sandy surf beach, one of the few on the East Coast in the Auckland Region. Its dunes extend for 15km and are popular for horse-riding. We stuck to walking this holiday though.
