Two of the three of us spent last week on the Surf Coast, just south of Melbourne. We stayed in a cabin on a campsite and explored the local area at a leisurely pace.
Apart from the gorgeous blue ocean and stunning beach views, one of the highlights of our holiday was probably the wildlife - kangaroos bounded past our deck and galahs called from the trees in the campsite. Here are some of the creatures that we encountered.
Our friendly feathered neighbour at the campsite

Kangaroos in the town reserve
A magpie in someone's front garden
A sulphur-crested cockatoo on the high street in Lorne
